How to Measure
At Y-Outfits, we want every jacket, coat, trouser, and accessory to fit perfectly. Follow the guide below to take accurate body measurements before placing your order.
Height
Stand straight against a wall. Place a ruler flat on top of your head and mark the wall where the ruler touches. Measure from the floor to the mark.
Neck
Measure around your neck at collar level without pulling the tape too tight.
Chest / Bust
Wrap the measuring tape around the fullest part of your chest or bust, under the arms and across the shoulder blades. Keep the tape level and comfortable.
Shoulder
(Measure from the back side)
Stand straight with relaxed shoulders. Measure from the edge of one shoulder to the edge of the other across the upper back.
Upper Arm / Bicep
Measure around the widest part of your upper arm just below the underarm.
Waist
Measure around your natural waistline, located above the belly button and below the rib cage.
Sleeves
Measure from the edge of your shoulder down to your wrist while keeping your arm relaxed.
Length
(Measure from the back side)
Measure from the base of the collar down to your preferred jacket or coat length.
Hips
Measure around the fullest part of your hips and buttocks while keeping the tape level.
Out-Seam
Measure from the top of the trouser waistband down to the desired bottom length.
Inseam
Measure from the upper inner thigh down to the ankle.
Palm
Measure from the tip of your middle finger to the start of your wrist.
Shoes
Shoe sizing is based on standard foot length and width measurements according to international sizing standards (ISO 9407:1991).
Fit Tip
For the best fit, wear light clothing while measuring and keep the measuring tape snug but not tight. If you are between sizes, we recommend choosing the larger size for added comfort.
